How it works

Kill any monster that takes part in the bestiary and the count begins. Cross each mark and the bonus goes up and stays for good. Mastering rotworm gives extra experience on rotworm, and nowhere else.

That changes where it pays to hunt: a place you have mastered yields more than the same place yields for someone who just arrived. Spreading across many creatures spreads the progress; sticking to one concentrates it.

The six steps

The ladder is the same for every creature, from a rat to a demon. It does not depend on difficulty, on level, or on anything written in the monster file.

Details worth knowing

Not every creature takes part. There are 134 of them — the ones with a bestiary entry. Training dummies, summons and decorative creatures stay out, because counting them would turn training into progression.

Progress is per character, not per account. Each one builds its own.

Nothing slips through. The server stores the step already paid, not a counter of its own. If several kills land at once, or if the ladder is ever retuned, each step is paid exactly once and none is skipped.

It stacks with the rest. The Auto Task bonus applies alongside the boosted monster and the experience windows. They are separate additions from separate systems.
